✅ SayPro Confirmation & Briefing Procedure for Officials, Referees, and Marshals

Objective:
To ensure all match-day personnel are fully informed, prepared, and aligned with SayPro standards for smooth and fair tournament execution.


1. Selection & Confirmation of Officials

  • Timeline: At least 5 days before the event.
  • Confirm roles and availability for:
    • Referees
    • Marshals
    • Line judges
    • Timekeepers
    • Scorekeepers
  • Share match schedule and role assignments with each individual.
  • Collect confirmation via email or SayPro personnel portal.

2. Distribute Official Briefing Pack

Include the following materials:

  • Match schedule with assignments
  • Venue maps and contact list
  • SayPro Code of Conduct
  • SayPro competition rules for the specific discipline
  • Incident reporting protocols
  • Referee/official score sheets
  • Emergency procedures

3. Pre-Event Briefing Session

  • Timing: 1–2 days before the event (in-person or virtual).
  • Led by: SayPro Competitions Office
  • Agenda:
    • Welcome and introductions
    • Review of tournament format and match rules
    • Review of roles and responsibilities
    • Key logistics (arrival time, uniform, meals, equipment)

4. On-Site Orientation (Match Day)
