Objective:
To successfully execute the SayPro Monthly Soccer Camp by ensuring all planned activities, training sessions, and schedules are implemented effectively, while maintaining a high standard of coaching and participant engagement.


Key Responsibilities


🔹 1. Implement the Camp Curriculum and Schedule

  • Follow the Finalized Curriculum
    • Conduct all training sessions according to the planned daily schedule, including skill development, tactical drills, fitness exercises, and mental toughness activities.
    • Ensure age-appropriate and skill-level-appropriate delivery of all sessions.
  • Time Management
    • Adhere strictly to scheduled start and end times for each activity.
    • Coordinate smooth transitions between drills, breaks, and different sessions to maximize training time.

🔹 2. Ensure Quality Coaching and Participant Engagement

  • High Coaching Standards
    • Confirm that all coaches deliver instructions clearly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a positive, motivating environment.
    • Monitor coaching techniques to ensure consistency with SayPro’s training philosophy.
  • Participant Monitoring and Support
    • Observe player engagement and effort during sessions.
    • Identify players who may need additional support or encouragement.
    • Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all skill levels and backgrounds.

🔹 3. Manage Camp Logistics and Safety

  • Equipment and Facility Oversight
    • Ensure all training equipment is set up correctly and available as needed throughout the day.
    • Coordinate with facility staff to maintain a safe training environment.
  • Health and Safety Compliance
    • Monitor participant hydration and rest periods.
    • Respond promptly to any injuries or emergencies following established protocols.
    • Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.

🔹 4. Communication and Feedback

  • Daily Communication with Staff
    • Conduct brief daily meetings or debriefs to discuss progress, challenges, and adjustments.
    • Keep open communication channels among coaches, camp coordinators, and support staff.
  • Engage with Parents and Guardians
    • Provide updates on camp progress and player development as appropriate.
    • Address questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collect Participant Feedback
    • Use informal check-ins and/or formal surveys to gather camper feedback for ongoing improvement.
