A key function of the SayPro Camps Office, led by the SayPro Advice Desk Officer SCDR and governed by the SayPro Development Royalty, is to ensure the comprehensive planning and flawless execution of all logistical aspects of SayPro Monthly Soccer Camps. Proper logistics lay the foundation for a safe, efficient, and high-performing training environment.
Primary Objective
To organize and manage all logistical components of the camp, including securing appropriate training facilities, preparing equipment, and ensuring that all materials and operational resources are available and functioning throughout the program.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Facility Coordination
- Identify, secure, and confirm bookings for high-quality training venues well in advance of camp dates.
- Inspect facilities to ensure they meet safety, accessibility, and performance standards (e.g., field quality, lighting, restroom access).
- Establish backup locations in case of inclement weather or emergencies.
2. Equipment Procurement and Management
- Create a comprehensive inventory of required equipment, including:
- Cones, balls, goals, bibs, agility ladders, training mannequins, whistles, first aid kits, hydration stations, and more.
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition prior to camp launch.
- Label, distribute, and maintain equipment throughout the duration of the camp.
- Collect, sanitize, and store all equipment post-camp for future use.
3. Material Preparation
- Prepare and distribute printed or digital materials, such as:
- Camp schedules, training plans, player evaluation forms, attendance sheets, and emergency contact lists.
- Ensure availability of signage, registration forms, feedback surveys, and branding materials if applicable.
4. Logistical Team Oversight
- Delegate operational tasks to logistics support staff, ensuring roles are clearly defined and timelines are met.
- Conduct daily logistics briefings with support personnel to review schedules, resource needs, and incident reporting procedures.
5. On-Site Setup and Breakdown
- Arrive early each day to set up fields and equipment according to the training agenda.
